Step 4: Hyperconductive
Quick Navigation: [Start 170 :: 10 Dungeons 200] [Base Anima: 210] [230 Hyperconductive]
[240 : “Novus II”]
Go to: MOST RECENT UPGRADE STEP “Novus II” 240
Starting Quest: Finding Your Voice
Rewards: 230 Hyperconductive Majestas
Previous step: Base Anima: 210
Next step: “Novus II”: 240
Something feels wrong about this step: because it’s actually not so bad….
SO in this step you need to obtain 5x Aether Oil. How do you get Aether Oil? Well there’s only 2 ways –
Aether Oil Weekly Quest
Considered (by me) to be the sane method. You can get a free Aether Oil every week by completing the quest Gift of the Archmagus. Which requires you to complete:
- Labyrinth of the Ancients (CT)
- Syrcus Tower (ST)
- World of Darkness (WoD)
AKA the three 24-man raids from 2.0. This isn’t actually a huge time-sink.
Aether Oil via Esoterics
1800 Esoterics tomestones gets you 1 Aether Oil. You can buy this from Hismena in Idyllshire (5,5)~ish.
Keep in mind this is the kind of step that usually gets nerfed heavily down the line.
How do I get Esoterics!? Any 3.0 Dungeon, Trial, Raid or Map. (3.0!). Also carrying people through trials they have yet to complete. Oh Vanu Vanu gives ’em out too.
I don’t know what else to say about this method. It’s really simple.
Summary
Personally I’m just going to stick to the weekly quest. This step is oddly easy, I hope they aren’t just charging up the grinding energy for the next step. Or perhaps this is a way for Yoshi-P to say sorry for the previous steps shenanigans? Haha. Either way, while I feel the ease of this step is very welcome, it lacks character overall.
In any case supposedly the next step will have customizable stats just like Nexus! Let’s see!
Just an fyi, you only need one of each luminous crystal now instead of three. So just 6 altogether, one from each area!
I would hardly call adding accuracy to the SCH book being tryhard after seeing how many times my energy drain misses mid-raid below 500 accuracy… :P More like the most sensible decision, unless of course you’re not into raiding at all which is fair enough.
You know what I mean, sir. haha. Good point!
Thanks for the awesome guide thus far! Will you also be compiling one for the latest step as well? I would love your recommendation as to how I should allocate points for the latest BLM weapon!
I’m working on this! It’ll be up soon!
Awesome!! I’ll be looking forward to it! :D
It’s up!
Yay!! Thank you so much! Looking forward to having my 240! :D
Thanks again! :D
Am I reading step 1 correctly that you just need the basic relic weapon without enhancements?
If I’m not mistaken you need the completed Zeta… if you don’t have one handy just do the “basic” method.
Esoterics are used now instead of law for the 680 tome requirement FYI
The link to base anima 210 is just linking to this page, maybe update the link to link to http://64.227.107.16/ffxiv-3-0-anima-relic-weapon-guide/2/
thanks for the heads up – fixed!
The link to step three is a a link to this page……
fixed!
beast tribe quest cap is 12 so u can actually do 4 beast tribes a day (unless u reach limit for reputation, after unlocking higher rep lvl u can get 3 quests again)
Yeah thanks! This was brought to my attention by others, too. Lemme fix up the guide to reflect this.
For the crafted item mats in Diadem, are they available in all difficulties? Or is it just a specific difficulty?
As far as I know all difficulties have it.
