What do Weavers craft?
Battlecraft Gear
Disciple of Magic Armor (Head, Body, Legs, Waist)
Tradecraft Gear
Crafting Armor (Hands, Legs, Body)
Fieldcraft Gear
Gathering Armor (Head, Legs, Body)
Components used by other crafting classes
Yarn, Cloth
What classes should be Weavers?
Conjurers (White Mage), Thaumaturges (Black Mage), Arcanists (Scholar, Summoner) would best suit getting Weaving. They’re generally useful to all players, since you can craft various tradecraft armor and fieldcraft armor.
Again, every crafting class benefits / relies on other crafting classes for components, so it’s never truly useless to train Weaving (or all crafting classes)
Weaver skills
Every Crafting (Disciple of Hand) class shares a large pool of skills, four of which are unique to each class. Below are the Weaving only skills.

Weaving Skills Discussion
Careful Synthesis: As unexciting as this skill is, it’s useful. Keep in mind, a skill being useful isn’t the same as it being powerful. This skill pretty much invalidates basic synthesis for the final step. More details on the Careful Synthesis II entry below. Getting to level 15 on weaving for this is worth it, just to ensure your crafting never goes “wrong” with “bad luck” (You’ll know what I mean when you fail your first basic synthesis on the last 10 durability).
Brand of Lightning: Like any ‘brand’ skill, this is almost always better than any generic synthesis skill. As a cross-class skill, this of course depends on the element of the item you’re crafting. Use it if you the item you’re crafting is earth lightning. (Determined by shard used?)
Careful Synthesis II: Like it’s lower level sibling, the ultimate weaving skill is unexciting. Many Many MANY times, you will be at 10 durability remaining, and one synthesis away from a full progress bar. You will fail exactly one in ten of these attempts due to most synthesis skills being at 90% success rate. Careful Synthesis II removes this 10% failure rate from ever happening to you again. This skill also conveniently replaces Basic Synthesis, it’s better on all levels.
Weaving skills are unexciting and not exactly special, or powerful. To be more precise, Careful Synthesis II is the best choice for the final step in any crafting attempt, and in 99.9% cases the best skill you can use the last 10 durability for. Ultimately, i’d say Careful Synthesis I (and eventually II) are must-have skills to any crafters skillset. While they serve no purpose to increase your chances at completing higher level crafts – they ENSURE that you never break 10% of your crafts due to bad luck. Also, saves you a bunch of CP from using Steady Hand + Synthesis to finish off your crafts.
Weaving Leveling Guide
We suggest starting crafting by leveling all crafting classes to 15 at once.

So having just read all these guides, I have 2 questions.
1) I have almost all of my crafting classes to 37 (only 3 36’s at the time of writing). GSM is my first 50. What order should I level up the remaining classes? I’m thinking of getting my CRP 43 up, since I’m fairly close, but BSM will be useful to craft my remaining classes’ tools.
2) When I ultimately hit 50 across the board, what CC skills should I put on my toolbars? The rotation guide is a bit daunting of a read.
