Diving into Dragoon? Don’t distress! Devote a little time to digest about the DRG job! Find basic information and FAQs in our Dragoon Basics Guide. Read on if you’re expecting to learn about unlocking DRG, Dragoon Job Identity, trait and skill list, crafters and gatherers related to DRG, and link to other important Dragoon info!

Dragoon is a Melee DPS job, and one of the starting nine jobs released in 2.0 A Realm Reborn. DRG’s came out alongside another melee DPS, Monk.

How to become a Dragoon? Unlocking DRG:

First and foremost you need to have a Level 30 Lancer, and have completed the L30 LNC class quest, “Proof of Might”. After doing this you can unlock the actual quest to become a Dragoon, “Eye of the Dragon” issued by Lancer guildmaster Ywain at Gridania – Old Gridania.

You also have to complete a Level 20 MSQ, “Sylph Management”, which realistically should be completed by the time you’re looking to unlock Dragoon.

Note that, upon completing Eye of the Dragon you MUST EQUIP the “Soul of the Dragoon” to actually formally BECOME a DRG. Interestingly, in the old days, unlocking Dragoon required L15 MRD – that’s no longer the case.

Dragoon Playstyle & DRG Job Identity

If you’ve asked yourself, “Why play, try, or choose Dragoon?” – here’s my attempt at selling you the DRG class.

Heavy hitting, extreme looking, high flying (animation locking) goodness – this embodies the DRG in theory and in practice. Dragoons have the longest combos in the game – it’s one of the most unique aspects about it. They also have quite a few positional requirements.

They’re the slow side of the GCD which can be good or bad for some, but they have MANY off-gcd weaving skills. While Dragoons have a mid to high tier personal DPS, historically they improve overall raid DPS quite a bit via raid buffs.

Aesthetically and thematically, there’s no mistaking that trademark “FF Dragoon look” and that satisfying “Dragoon feel”. The job plays how you expect with the flashiness and heaviness of the jumps. The FFXIV Dragoon hits it home IMO, paying great homage to the general Final Fantasy Dragoon!

DISCLAIMER

DISCLAIMER: This is not meant to be a blurb that aligns with the current meta. That changes from patch to patch. Our goal here is to provide you with an idea of what the job is trying to be, getting cues from both the Developers’ concrete decisions on job design, as well as our own feedback.

What Crafters & Gatherers should Dragoon level?

While it’s common in MMORPG’s to think you want to craft your own gear as you level up your DRG… I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Leveling up your DoH and DoL jobs should be thought of as a different activity completely. To be honest, if you’re a newer player, simply ensure that you DO NOT OVERCAP Levequests (always have less than 100).

The only relation a combat job has to a crafter or gatherer class is “which classes do you need to repair your gear”? My advice, ultimately, is pretty much all or nothing – level up all DoH classes in tandem. As a separate project, level up all DoL classes in tandem (with the optional Fisher).

What’s the best race for Dragoon?

Racial stats are (was?) a thing. However, I highly recommend not caring about it. The difference in performance between the “best” and “worst” race for you is not even 0.1%.

My advice? Pick for aesthetics. Will you stay the same job forever? If you change mains, will you race change? Ultimately, the difference is so microscopic that I cannot in good faith tell you that racial stats are an integral part of your character.

I won’t even link the Racial Stats Guide, as I haven’t checked up on this in a while – and I don’t want to cement the idea that the “best race” really matters.

Motivated to be a Monk? Before you mull over the massive mixture of moves, learn the absolute basics of the MNK job! Basic information and FAQs in our Monk Basics Guide. Read on if you’re expecting to learn about unlocking MNK, Monk Job Identity, trait and skill list, crafters and gatherers related to MNK, and link to other important Monk info!

Monk is a Melee DPS job, and one of nine jobs that came out at release, 2.0 A Realm Reborn. MNKs came out with Dragoons are the other melee DPS at the time.

How to become a Monk? Unlocking MNK:

First and foremost you need to have a Level 30 Pugilist, and have completed the L30 PGL class quest, “Return of the Holyfist”. After doing this you can unlock the actual quest to become a Monk, “Brother from Another Mother” – the quest is issued by Gagaruna in the Pugilists guild at Ul’dah – Steps of Thal.

Monk Playstyle & MNK Job Identity

If you’ve asked yourself, “Why play, try, or choose Monk?” – here’s my attempt at selling you the MNK class.

Monk is our resident “combo class”. Super fast attacks, lots of tracking timers, loads of  positionals… they’re probably the most hectic melee DPS class.

Monks have a decent balance of Raid utility and personal DPS. Historically, they have been known to put up great DPS, but… Monks have the shortest GCD in the game thanks to their stacking Greased Lightning buff, and the heaviest positional requirements of any job. The combination of those two can sound interesting to some, but daunting to others.

Aesthetically and thematically, they’re the typical “lightning fast” fist fighter. While their OG artifact armor is a little meme-tier (it’s improved since!), one cannot argue how cool double fist weapons are, and just how “right” the class playstyle and expectations align.

Well met, Paladin players! For all those pursuing the PLD job, you’ll find a pleasant amount of basic information and FAQs in our Paladin Basics Guide. Read on if you’re expecting to learn about unlocking PLD, Paladin Job Identity, trait and skill list, crafters and gatherers related to PLD, and link to other important Paladin info!

Paladin is a Tank job, one of the original nine jobs introduced in the game in 2.0 A Realm Reborn. PLD came out alongside Warrior as the only other tank at the time.

How to become a Paladin? Unlocking PLD:

First and foremost you need to have a Level 30 Gladiator, and have completed the L30 GLD class quest, “The Rematch”. After doing this you can unlock the actual quest to become a Paladin, “Paladin’s Pledge”, which can be found in the Gladiator’s guild, from Lulutsu (Ul’Dah – Steps of Thal).

You also have to complete a Level 20 MSQ, “Sylph Management”, which realistically should be completed by the time you’re looking to unlock Paladin.

Note that upon completing the Paladin’s Pledge, you MUST EQUIP the “Soul of the Paladin” to actually formally BECOME a PLD. Interestingly, in the old days, unlocking Paladin required L15 Conjurer – that’s no longer the case.

Paladin Playstyle & PLD Job Identity

If you’ve asked yourself, “Why play, try, or choose Paladin?” – here’s my attempt at selling you the PLD class.

The “Tank above all tanks”, Paladins are the el basic el beef personification of the MMORPG Tank. Like having both a physical melee and ranged magical component in your rotation? Godly defensive raid and personal utility skills? Read on.

PLDs are the de facto default tank choice IMO. While their DPS capabilities aren’t historically best among tanks, the sheer safety and utility of having one is a huge boon for your groups success chances. The ranged portion of their rotation can be extremely useful when you have to be away from your target.

Aesthetically and thematically, FFXIV’s PLD rumbles in as a strong representation of a TATANKA for those beef freaks out there. They give off that typical “Holy Knight” vibe, which many connect with. A bit of trivia? For nearly a decade now, they’re the only tank class with an actual shield…

Bent on being a Black Mage? Bolster your knowledge on the BLM job, basic information and FAQs in our Black Mage Basics Guide. Read on if you’re expecting to learn about unlocking BLM, Black Mage Job Identity, trait and skill list, crafters and gatherers related to BLM, and link to other important Black Mage info!

Black Mage is a Ranged Magical DPS job (“caster”), and is one of the very first nine jobs released in 2.0 A Realm Reborn. BLM’s came out along with another caster, the Summoner.

How to become a Black Mage? Unlocking BLM:

First and foremost you need to have a Level 30 Thaumaturge, and have completed the L30 THM class quest, “Facing your Demons”. After doing this you can unlock the actual quest to become a Black Mage, “Taking the Black”. You can get the quest at the usual place, Ul’dah – Steps of Nald by Yayake.

You also have to complete a Level 20 MSQ, “Sylph Management”, which realistically should be completed by the time you’re looking to unlock Black Mage.

Note that, upon completing the quest you MUST EQUIP the “Soul of the Black Mage” to actually formally BECOME a BLM. Interestingly, in the old days, unlocking Black Mage required L15 Archer – that’s no longer the case.

Black Mage Playstyle & BLM Job Identity

If you’ve asked yourself, “Why play, try, or choose Black Mage?” – here’s my attempt at selling you the BLM class.

Have you ever wanted to be a turret? Dream of just staying in one place and pew pew? Black Mage is just for you! The BLM rotation is wholly determined by your cast bar, and few bursts of instacasts. Heck your signature cooldown, Leylines, requires you to STAND on a ground rune you generate!

Historically Black Mage DPS has been VERY good. There is a catch though. It’s easy to be a terrible Black Mage (their rotation actually punishes you HEAVILY for the myriad mistakes you can make at every step). Oh, and it’s difficult to be a GOOD one. Optimizing your BLM rotation requires serious study of the encounter, your job, execution… This high mastery aspect of Black Mage can be a draw or turn-off depending on the person.

Aesthetically and thematically, the FFXIV BLM feels real good. It pays great homage to the general Final Fantasy Black Mage. It also captures the feel of a “pure spellcaster” with devastating success. The ice / fire phase rotation is quite unique.

Becoming a Bard? I believe you’ve bumped into the right place for BRD job info! We talk about basic information and FAQs in our Bard Basics Guide. Read on if you’re expecting to learn about unlocking BRD, Bard Job Identity, trait and skill list, crafters and gatherers related to BRD, and link to other important Bard info!

Bard is a Ranged Physical DPS job, and one of the starting nine jobs introduced in 2.0 A Realm Reborn. BRDs were the only Ranged Physical DPS at the time, until 3.0 came out with Machinists.

How to become a Bard? Unlocking BRD:

Also, you need to complete a level 20 MSQ, “Sylph Management”, which realistically should be done by the time you’re looking to unlock Bard.

Note that, upon completing A Song of Bards and Bowmen you MUST EQUIP the “Soul of the Bard” to actually formally BECOME a BRD. Interestingly, in the old days, unlocking Bard required L15 Pugilist – thankfully that’s no longer the case.

Bard Playstyle & BRD Job Identity

If you’ve asked yourself, “Why play, try, or choose Bard?” – here’s my attempt at selling you the BRD class.

As a ranged character, Bards feel really “safe” to play. Managing your DoT’s is another major aspect of FFXIV’s BRD so if you’re into that. HOWEVER, don’t go into bard thinking you’ll have that “sniper” “assassin” longbow character – Bards are undoubtedly in the supportive spectrum of DPS classes and their average DPS shows it. They’re also above average in the “hectic” rotation scale.

Aesthetically and thematically, the FFXIV Bard isn’t something you always see in modern MMORPG’s. It’s a hybrid of a “Magical Songstress”, and “Mystic Archer” if I’m to use my own scrubby descriptions – but it does such a good job of MASHING those two together both in form and function. Speaking of mashing things together, your keyboard will soon know that too.

Seeking to scale up as a Samurai? Surmount your lack of schooling about the SAM job! Find basic information and FAQs in our Samurai Basics Guide. Read on if you’re expecting to learn about unlocking SAM, Samurai Job Identity, trait and skill list, crafters and gatherers related to SAM, and link to other important Samurai info!

Samurai is a Melee DPS job, and was released at 4.0 Stormblood alongside Red Mage. In their role as Melee DPS, SAM is preceded by Monk and Dragoon.

How to become a Samurai? Unlocking SAM:

Unlock and become a Samurai by doing the quest, “The Way of the Samurai”, which is found at Ul’dah – Steps of Nald (NPC: Ul’dahn Citizen). The only requirement is having a level 50 Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic leveled.

Unlike the Heavensward classes, I’m almost certain you can rush into using SAM once you have the level requirement – and is not gated behind unlocking Stormblood content.

Note that, upon completing the quest you MUST EQUIP the “Soul of the Samurai” to actually formally BECOME a SAM.

FFXIV Job Unlock & Requirements Guide.

Samurai Playstyle & SAM Job Identity

If you’ve asked yourself, “Why play, try, or choose Samurai?” – here’s my attempt at selling you the SAM class.

The SAM playstyle is based on managing two resource types. Sen and Kenki. While easy to understand and pull off decently, there’s a ton of micro optimization you can pull here. Their GCD is faster than most classes, so that can be a good or bad thing for you!

Samurais in FFXIV are a “greedy” Melee DPS class, meaning they give little to no raid utility in exchange for a higher personal DPS. They’re reasonably mobile, having both a dash and a disengage.

Aesthetically and thematically, the FFXIV Samurai is the “lone swordsman with straw in their mouth” kind of  Samurai. Their signature move, Midare Satsugekka, is your typical draw-slash “Iai” FFS. These guys are definitely based off “real world japan” and I know that’s something a lot of people resonate with.

FFXIV Red Mage (RDM) Basics Guide & FAQ – Shadowbringers Updated!

Shadowbringers Updated! A guide on the basics of Red Mage! RDM unlocking & requirements, why play a Red Mage, and other FAQ’s

Raring to be a Red Mage? Rest assured you’ll read up about the RDM job, basic information and FAQs in our Red Mage Basics Guide. Read on if you’re expecting to learn about unlocking RDM, Red Mage Job Identity, trait and skill list, crafters and gatherers related to RDM, and link to other important Red Mage info!

Red Mage is a Ranged Magical DPS job (“caster”) released in 4.0 Stormblood. RDM’s came out alongside Samurai in the same expansion, and were preceded by two other casters, Black Mage and Summoner. While their in-game role is strictly caster, they do have melee combos – essentially making them the first hybrid class playstyle wise.

How to become a Red Mage? Unlocking RDM:

Unlock and become a Red Mage by doing the quest, “Taking the Red”, which is found at Ul’dah – Steps of Thal (NPC: Distraught Lass). The only requirement is having a level 50 Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic leveled.

Unlike the Heavensward classes, I’m almost certain you can rush into using RDM once you have the level requirement – and is not locked behind unlocking Stormblood content.

Note that, upon completing the quest you MUST EQUIP the “Soul of the Red Mage” to actually formally BECOME a RDM.

Red Mage Playstyle & RDM Job Identity

If you’ve asked yourself, “Why play, try, or choose Red Mage?” – here’s my attempt at selling you the RDM class.

Red Mages are, thankfully, on the simpler side of the caster DPS spectrum. The White and Black mana system is pretty cool – you have to generate both as “equally” as you can, while keeping into account your procs. While you can “mess up” and be punished by building up too much of one color… it’s not something you’ll run into after you get your chops.

And RDM’s have a melee combo to spend your carefully built up mana – which is damn cool. They’re also BY FAR the most mobile caster class (and pretty damn mobile compared to all jobs in general) – with the infamous rush, and backflip (of which you’ll fall off the edge at one point in your career). You can heal in a pinch too, heh.

Aesthetically and thematically, the FFXIV Red Mage borrows heavily from the greater Final Fantasy Red Mage allure. The versatility, mobility, jack of all trades feel, the rapier… it’s a hybrid caster and melee DPS with flair (not Flare, that’s BLM). Sounds great? Then RDM is for you!

DISCLAIMER

DISCLAIMER: This is not meant to be a blurb that aligns with the current meta. That changes from patch to patch. Our goal here is to provide you with an idea of what the job is trying to be, getting cues from both the Developers’ concrete decisions on job design, as well as our own feedback.

What Crafters & Gatherers should Red Mage level?

While it’s common in MMORPG’s to think you want to craft your own gear as you level up your RDM… I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

What’s the best race for Red Mage?

Racial stats are (was?) a thing. However, I highly recommend not caring about it. The difference in performance between the “best” and “worst” race for you is not even 0.1%.

My advice? Pick for aesthetics. Will you stay the same job forever? If you change mains, will you race change? Ultimately, the difference is so microscopic that I cannot in good faith tell you that racial stats are an integral part of your character.

I won’t even link the Racial Stats Guide, as I haven’t checked up on this in a while – and I don’t want to cement the idea that the “best race” really matters.

Studying up on Scholar, ey? Surely, you’ll find supplemental and support info on the SCH job here! Basic information and FAQs in our Scholar Basics Guide. Read on if you’re expecting to learn about unlocking SCH, Scholar Job Identity, trait and skill list, crafters and gatherers related to SCH, and link to other important Scholar info! Perfect for the

Scholar is a Healer job, and is one of the first nine jobs to be released in 2.0 A Realm Reborn. SCHs healed with White Mages as the only healing jobs at the time.

How to become a Scholar? Unlocking SCH:

First and foremost you need to have a Level 30 Arcanist, and have completed the L30 ACN class quest, “Sinking Doesmaga”. After doing this you can unlock the actual quest to become a Scholar, “Forgotten but Not Gone”. This quest is issued at the Arcanist’s guild by Murie, at Limsa Lominsa – Lower Decks.

You also have to complete a Level 20 MSQ, “Sylph Management”, which realistically should be completed by the time you’re looking to unlock Scholar.

Note that, upon completing Forgotten but Not Gone you MUST EQUIP the “Soul of the Scholar” to actually formally BECOME a SCH. Interestingly, in the old days, unlocking Scholar required L15 Conjurer – thankfully that’s no longer the case.

Scholar Playstyle & SCH Job Identity

If you’ve asked yourself, “Why play, try, or choose Scholar?” – here’s my attempt at selling you the SCH class.

Scholars heal alongside a fairy pet. Curious now ey? FFXIV’s SCH is a very “technical” healer that rewards encounter knowledge and optimization heavily. It’s primary niche is damage mitigation through “prevention” via shielding and resists.

Through the management of Aetherflow stacks and your “fairy bar”, there’s a tension on how best to use your resources (Heh, Energy Drain). Scholars are undoubtedly on the technical side of healer jobs, as mitigation skills are utterly useless if mechanics blindside you. The payoff? IMO the most EFFICIENT healing kit overall – this coming from a White Mage main.

Aesthetically and thematically, Fairy + Book + Glasses + “Technical job”, this kind of schtick attracts quite a few people, heh. FFXIV’s Scholar, on a more serious note, hits a home run in the theme department. The job is, lore wise, focused on tactics and your gameplay reflects that.

Striving to set out as a Summoner? Simmer on how to stir up a storm with the SMN job! Basic information and FAQs in our Summoner Basics Guide. Read on if you’re expecting to learn about unlocking SMN, Summoner Job Identity, trait and skill list, crafters and gatherers related to SMN, and link to other important Summoner info!

Summoner is a Ranged Magical DPS job (“caster”) introduced as one of the nine original jobs in 2.0 A Realm Reborn. SMNs came out at release with another caster job, Black Mage. It took years before another caster was added into the mix (During 4.0 Stormblood, Red Mage).

How to become a Summoner? Unlocking SMN:

First and foremost you need to have a Level 30 Arcanist, and have completed the L30 ACN class quest, “Sinking Doesmaga”. After doing this you can unlock the actual quest to become a Summoner, “Austerities of Flame” found at Limsa Lominsa – Lower Decks.

You also have to complete a Level 20 MSQ, “Sylph Management”, which realistically should be completed by the time you’re looking to unlock Summoner.

Note that, upon completing the quest you MUST EQUIP the “Soul of the Summoner” to actually formally BECOME a SMN. Interestingly, in the old days, unlocking Summoner required L15 Thaumaturge – that’s no longer the case.

Summoner Playstyle & SMN Job Identity

If you’ve asked yourself, “Why play, try, or choose Summoner?” – here’s my attempt at selling you the SMN class.

Pet class DPS? Sign me up! For sure you know at least ONE dude that said it. FFXIV’s Summoner has gone through quite a few transformations over the years…

Historically, SMN’s are a reasonably mobile caster class. While their “multi phase” rotation is a little too much to swallow for some, it’s a welcome challenge for some. They have a DoT subtheme if you’re into that. Aligning and being smart about timings and cooldowns are a CORE mastery aspect for the job. Be warned, their “only human” phase is some of the most feelsbad parts of any jobs rotation heh.

Aesthetically and thematically, I mean, you can’t not love the classic Summoner horn, and your cast of pets include the classics Ifrit, Titan, Bahamut, Garuda, Phoenix. The flashiness is off the charts as well. FFXIV’s Summoner might not be for everyone, but they (literally they) get the job done.

FFXIV Gunbreaker GNB L60+ Rotation for leveling

A newly minted Gunbreaker, so many skills – so little time! Lucky you’ve found the right place! Our Gunbreaker L60 & Leveling Rotation guide should help you get into the basics.

Looking for a list of skills? See our Gunbreaker general guide, or preferably… your own skill list. Gunbreaker enters the world with the following number of actions, all of which we will account for:

  • NINETEEN Job actions
  • SEVEN Role actions

L60+ Gunbreaker leveling rotation: Navigation
L60 Rotation Summary | L60 Skills explained | L60+ skills, and rotation effect.

Gunbreaker (GNB) L60 Rotation Summary

Here we discuss the single target rotation, AoE rotation, and cooldown usage of Gunbreaker. If you need a skill by skill explanation and protips, it’s in the next section.

Protip: Never forget your enmity stance (Royal Guard) in dungeons. And at least one of you two tanks should have it in raids (Remember the “he who keeps it on is the main tank” rule).

L60 Gunbreaker Single Target Rotation

It would help to imagine Gunbreakers L60 rotation as using combos to gain cartridges, and appropriately spending them.

Your basic rotation loop looks something like this:

  1. Keen Edge > Brutal Shell > Solid Barrel GAIN CARTRIDGE.
  2. Spend cartridge: Gnashing Fang combo > Burst Strike (cooldown dependent)

That constitutes a majority of your decisions and actions, but also consider the miscellaneous parts of your DPS.

  • Use heavy cooldowns: No Mercy > Sonic Break
  • Weave OGCDS: Danger Zone > Rough Divide

L60 Gunbreaker AoE Rotation

Your basic AoE rotation (3+ enemies!) loop looks something like this:

  1. Revert to single target at any time you have less than 3 enemies.
  2. Demon Slice > Demon Slaughter combo: GAIN CARTRIDGE
  3. Save up to 2 Cartridges, don’t overflow! Use them as you would in your single target rotation but maybe prioritizing Burst Strike spam, for speed.

That constitutes a majority of your decisions and actions, but also consider the miscellaneous parts of your DPS.

  • Use heavy cooldowns: No Mercy > Sonic Break
  • Weave OGCDS: Danger Zone > Rough Divide

AS YOU DO NOT HAVE A CARTRIDGE AoE SPENDER,
you cannot truly have an isolated AoE rotation yet,
and must incorporate single target.

L60 Gunbreaker Other skills and responsibilities

Here we outline the uses of any other skill not mentioned in the rotation guide above.

Keep Royal Guard on! You’re a tank, so (easy as it is these days) hold aggro at all times. Royal Guard is essentially an enmity generation stance. It’s OGCD these days! Provoke helps with the strays

Heavy damage (help your healers!) should be mitigated by:
Nebula, Camouflage, and role action Rampart.

You can help heal yourself with Aurora. Every little bit counts…

If you’re on the precipice of death, Superbolide ENSURES you to be an inch from it! Jokes aside, it will keep you alive for the next few seconds. Hopefully, you’ll be alive AFTER it.

Gunbreaker L60 skill by skill explanation and binding tips

Here, we bind your actions and help you understand them
IN THE ORDER THEY APPEAR.

Job ActionsRole Actions

Keen Edge: is your basic combo starter. “1”.

No Mercy (short cooldown): A very long DPS steroid that should BASICALLY be used as much as you can. Keep it in reach as its cooldown is very generous.

Brutal Shell: Is the second step in your basic combo. “2”.

Camouflage (long cooldown): an amazing cooldown due to its titanic duration. Essentially a second Rampart. Great for absorbing “two” mechanics worth of damage.

Demon Slice: is the first step in your AoE combo.

Royal Guard: is your tank stance. Switching it is OGCD these days. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind clicking this, or having a far bind.

Lightning Shot: Ranged pulling attack.

Danger Zone (short cooldown): Heavy OGCD attack. Used quite often.

Solid Barrel: Your basic combo finisher. “3”. It also gains you a Cartridge.

Burst Strike: Heavy single target Cartridge spender.

Nebula (long cooldown): Short but heavy damage mitigation. Use for tank busters.

Demon Slaughter: Your AoE combo finisher that also gains you a Cartridge.

Aurora (cooldown): A cute regen effect on yourself, or any party member.

Superbolide (long cooldown): Ultimate “Oh Shit” Button, but puts your health at 1.

Sonic Break (cooldown): Massive DoT with long duration that’s mostly relevant on bosses.

Rough Divide (short cooldown): OGCD gap closer with damage. Will mostly be used for damage, lol. Keep it close in bindings.

Gnashing Fang > Savage Claw > Wicked Talon: Are the three parts of your cartridge combo. Note that the combo has a cooldown, aside from cartridge cost. Personally, I put these in “Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, Ctrl+3”.

I’ll loosely discuss these Tank Actions in relation to Gunbreaker.

Rampart: is a workhorse. Due to its long duration, it’s suitable for large dungeon pulls and “double mitigating” a string of mechanics in raids. Gunbreaker also has Camouflage to act as a “Rampart 2”.

Low Blow: Is rarely useful in raids but great otherwise. Stunning a monster makes it deal no damage, and can also interrupt their spells. I used to bind this near me, but I now have a super out of the way bind for it. (CTRL or ALT + something). Clicking it is fine, too.

Provoke: Is essential in raids, and has some usefulness in dungeons. You should ALWAYS know if your Provoke is up, and where to press for it. No self-respecting tank would ever be confused about their own Provoke.

Interject: Similar to Low Blow in many respects, it’s a pretty niche skill. Find a far bind for it, or click it.

Reprisal is a godly skill in raids, but pretty much a non-issue otherwise. Find a good bind for this if you’re the raiding type.

Arm’s Length is something I comfortably put in the “okay to click” tier. It’s RARELY used and its uses will rarely catch you off-guard. It’s almost always planned.

Shirk: is essential in most raids. Transferring aggro to and receiving aggro from your tanks helps ease tank swap mechanics.

Gunbreaker L60+ How new skills affect rotation

I’ll add to this very soon.

WELL THATS IT FOR NOW. I’ll definitely be adding information. Good luck shooting and slashing with your Fresh L60+ Gunbreaker Leveling Rotation!
